Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach (60g)
- 1 medium frozen banana (120g), peeled and broken into chunks
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (240ml)
- 1 tbsp almond butter (15g)
- 1 tsp chia seeds (5g)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Pour the unsweetened almond milk into the blender first, followed by the fresh baby spinach. Blend on high for 30 seconds until the leaves are completely pulverized and a 'green milk' is formed.
- Add the frozen banana chunks, almond butter, chia seeds, and ground cinnamon to the blender. The weight of the frozen fruit will help push the lighter greens toward the blades.
- Blend on high until the mixture reaches a smooth, velvety consistency without any visible flecks of greens. Use a silicone spatula to scrape down the sides if necessary.
