Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach (60g)
  • 1 medium frozen banana (120g), peeled and broken into chunks
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (240ml)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter (15g)
  • 1 tsp chia seeds (5g)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Pour the unsweetened almond milk into the blender first, followed by the fresh baby spinach. Blend on high for 30 seconds until the leaves are completely pulverized and a 'green milk' is formed.
  2. Add the frozen banana chunks, almond butter, chia seeds, and ground cinnamon to the blender. The weight of the frozen fruit will help push the lighter greens toward the blades.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture reaches a smooth, velvety consistency without any visible flecks of greens. Use a silicone spatula to scrape down the sides if necessary.
