Ingredients:

  • 1 slice of your favorite bread (sourdough, whole wheat, or ciabatta)
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) whole milk ricotta cheese, drained if very watery
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) high-quality honey
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) shelled, unsalted pistachios, roughly chopped
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt
  • Optional: Zest of 1/4 lemon

Instructions:

  1. Toast the bread to your desired level of crispness.
  2. While the toast is still warm, evenly spread the ricotta cheese over the surface.
  3. Drizzle the honey evenly over the ricotta.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios and flaky sea salt over the honeyed ricotta. If using, add a pinch of lemon zest.
  5. Serve your Sun-Kissed Ricotta Toast immediately.
