Ingredients:
- 1 slice of your favorite bread (sourdough, whole wheat, or ciabatta)
- 2 tablespoons (30g) whole milk ricotta cheese, drained if very watery
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) high-quality honey
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) shelled, unsalted pistachios, roughly chopped
- Pinch of flaky sea salt
- Optional: Zest of 1/4 lemon
Instructions:
- Toast the bread to your desired level of crispness.
- While the toast is still warm, evenly spread the ricotta cheese over the surface.
- Drizzle the honey evenly over the ricotta.
- Sprinkle the chopped pistachios and flaky sea salt over the honeyed ricotta. If using, add a pinch of lemon zest.
- Serve your Sun-Kissed Ricotta Toast immediately.
