Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (30g)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15ml)
- 1/3 cup honey (113g)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (60ml)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (15ml)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (5ml)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (30g)
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions:
- Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch in a bowl until well-coated.
- Add vegetable oil to a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Sauté chicken until golden brown and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Whisk until smooth and bring to a simmer.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with sauce until heated through (about 2-3 minutes).
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
