- ½ teaspoon (2 g) sea salt (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract (optional, for added depth)
Instructions:
- Soften the unsalted butter to room temperature (leave it out for about 30 minutes).
- In a medium mixing bowl, add the softened butter, honey, sea salt, and vanilla extract (if using).
- Using a hand mixer or whisk, blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
- Taste the honey butter and adjust sweetness or salt according to preference.
- Transfer the honey butter into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld (optional).
