Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (120 ml) honey
  • ½ teaspoon (2 g) sea salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract (optional, for added depth)

Instructions:

  1. Soften the unsalted butter to room temperature (leave it out for about 30 minutes).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, add the softened butter, honey, sea salt, and vanilla extract (if using).
  3. Using a hand mixer or whisk, blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
  4. Taste the honey butter and adjust sweetness or salt according to preference.
  5. Transfer the honey butter into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld (optional).
