Ingredients:

  • 4 cups (600g) frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) fresh lime juice or lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup (240ml) cold water or coconut water

Instructions:

  1. Place the frozen strawberries at the bottom of the blender. Pour the lime juice and honey or maple syrup over the fruit.
  2. Add the water or coconut water last to ensure the liquid helps the blades pull the frozen fruit down effectively.
  3. Start the blender on the lowest setting to break up large frozen chunks, then slowly increase to high speed. Blend for 45–60 seconds until smooth and velvety.
  4. Stop the blender and check for unblended frozen pockets. If too thick, add liquid 1 tablespoon (15ml) at a time until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
