Ingredients:
- 4 cups (600g) frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup (120ml) fresh lime juice or lemon juice
- 1/4 cup (60ml) honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup (240ml) cold water or coconut water
Instructions:
- Place the frozen strawberries at the bottom of the blender. Pour the lime juice and honey or maple syrup over the fruit.
- Add the water or coconut water last to ensure the liquid helps the blades pull the frozen fruit down effectively.
- Start the blender on the lowest setting to break up large frozen chunks, then slowly increase to high speed. Blend for 45–60 seconds until smooth and velvety.
- Stop the blender and check for unblended frozen pockets. If too thick, add liquid 1 tablespoon (15ml) at a time until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
