Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60ml) Tequila Blanco
- 1 oz (30ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- ¾ oz (22.5ml) Cointreau or Triple Sec
- ¼ tsp (0.5g) Activated Charcoal Powder (Food Grade)
- Lime wedge and black sanding sugar, for rimming (optional)
- Ice
Instructions:
- Prepare the Rim (Optional): Moisten the rim of the cocktail glass with a lime wedge. Spread black sanding sugar on a small plate. Dip the rim of the glass into the sugar, coating evenly.
- Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, Cointreau (or Triple Sec), and activated charcoal powder.
- Add Ice: Fill the shaker with ice.
- Shake Well: Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until well-chilled.
- Strain & Serve: Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
- Garnish: Garnish with a lime wedge (optional).
