Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) water or unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup (approx. 60g) fresh spinach, tightly packed, washed thoroughly
- 1/2 medium frozen banana (approx. 60g)
- 1/2 cup (approx. 75g) frozen mango chunks
- 1/4 cup (approx. 35g) frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) chia seeds or flaxseeds
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) lemon or lime juice (freshly squeezed!)
Instructions:
- Add the water or almond milk to the blender jar.
- Pack the spinach into the blender jar.
- Add the frozen banana, mango, pineapple, chia seeds (or flaxseeds), and lemon (or lime) juice to the blender.
- Secure the lid and blend on high speed until completely smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more liquid. If it's too thin, add a few more frozen fruit chunks.
- Taste and add more fruit or lemon/lime juice to adjust sweetness and tartness to your preference.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
