Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Whole Milk (or Preferred Non-Dairy Alternative)
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Pure)
  • 2 Large Frozen Ripe Bananas, sliced (approx. 300 g)
  • 1 Tablespoon Rolled Oats
  • 1 Tablespoon Creamy Almond Butter
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Honey or Maple Syrup (Optional)
  • 2-3 Ice Cubes (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Measure all liquid ingredients (milk, vanilla, sweetener) and set aside. Ensure the bananas are well-frozen (at least 6 hours).
  2. Load the Blender: Pour the milk and vanilla extract into the blender jar first to ensure proper blade lubrication.
  3. Add Remaining Ingredients: Layer the frozen banana slices, rolled oats, almond butter, cinnamon, and optional ice cubes over the liquid base.
  4. Start Low and Pulse: Secure the lid. Begin blending on a low setting or use the ‘Pulse’ function 4–5 times to initially break up the frozen chunks.
  5. Increase Speed: Transition to a medium-high speed. Blend continuously for 45–60 seconds, or until the mixture appears thick and smooth.
  6. Scrape and Re-Blend: If the mixture stops moving, stop the machine and use a rubber spatula to scrape the ingredients down toward the blades. Blend again until absolutely smooth.
  7. Serve: Pour the smoothie immediately into a tall glass. Garnish with a light sprinkle of cinnamon or a few slices of fresh banana and enjoy straight away.
