- 1 slice bread (sourdough, whole wheat, brioche)
- 1/2 cup (113g) plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1/2 cup fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 1/4 cup (25g) granola
- 1 teaspoon (5g) chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon (10g) chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)
- 1 tablespoon (15g) nut butter (peanut, almond, cashew)
- Drizzle of honey/maple syrup (optional)
- Sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder (optional)
Instructions:
- Toast your bread to your desired level of golden-brown perfection.
- In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey/maple syrup/agave, vanilla extract (if using), and pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Generously spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the toasted bread.
- Arrange your desired toppings on top of the yogurt. Think color, texture, and flavor combinations.
- If desired, drizzle with a little extra honey or maple syrup.
