  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (25g) granola
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon (10g) chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) nut butter (peanut, almond, cashew)
  • Drizzle of honey/maple syrup (optional)
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Toast your bread to your desired level of golden-brown perfection.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey/maple syrup/agave, vanilla extract (if using), and pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Generously spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the toasted bread.
  4. Arrange your desired toppings on top of the yogurt. Think color, texture, and flavor combinations.
  5. If desired, drizzle with a little extra honey or maple syrup.
