Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup colorful sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  8. Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  9. Use an ice cream scoop to portion out dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  11. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
