Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup colorful sprinkles
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles until evenly distributed.
- Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Use an ice cream scoop to portion out dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
