Ingredients:
- 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 8 oz (225g) whole milk mozzarella, freshly grated
- 4 oz (115g) sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup (25g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tbsp (56g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Use a long serrated knife to slice the entire slab of rolls in half horizontally without pulling them apart. Place the bottom half into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the marinara (1/2 cup) evenly over the bottom slab.
- Layer the cheese by spreading 225g of freshly grated mozzarella over the sauce.
- Arrange the pepperoni (115g) in an overlapping pattern. Ensure every slider has at least 3-4 slices for the perfect snap.
- Place the top slab of rolls back on.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt.
- Brush the glaze generously over the tops and sides of the rolls.
- Bake the sliders covered with foil for 15 minutes, then remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbling.
