Ingredients:

  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 8 oz (225g) whole milk mozzarella, freshly grated
  • 4 oz (115g) sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup (25g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp (56g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Use a long serrated knife to slice the entire slab of rolls in half horizontally without pulling them apart. Place the bottom half into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the marinara (1/2 cup) evenly over the bottom slab.
  3. Layer the cheese by spreading 225g of freshly grated mozzarella over the sauce.
  4. Arrange the pepperoni (115g) in an overlapping pattern. Ensure every slider has at least 3-4 slices for the perfect snap.
  5. Place the top slab of rolls back on.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt.
  7. Brush the glaze generously over the tops and sides of the rolls.
  8. Bake the sliders covered with foil for 15 minutes, then remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbling.
