Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (250g)
  • 1 cup rolled oats (120g)
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup (50g)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (5g)
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips (75g) (optional)
  • ¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut (30g) (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (30g) (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the baking pan by lining it with parchment paper (optional for easier removal).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  3. Gradually add rolled oats to the mixture.
  4. Stir in optional mix-ins (chocolate chips, coconut, nuts) until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  6. Press the mixture firmly into the pan to create an even layer.
  7. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until set.
  8. Remove from the pan, cut into squares, and serve.
