Ingredients:

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup creamy unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, peanut butter, and chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and rolled oats, stirring until fully incorporated.
  4. Lightly flour a surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thick.
  5. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and transfer them to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. (Optional) Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of each treat.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool completely before serving.
