Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced thinly (use a mandoline slicer for even cuts)
- 1 tbsp melted coconut oil (or olive oil spray)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1-2 tbsp granulated sugar (optional; omit for a no-added-sugar version)
Instructions:
- Slice the bananas into thin rounds, about ⅛-inch thick. Pat the slices dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, toss the banana slices with melted coconut oil. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and sugar (if using); toss to coat evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C). Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding. Cook for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy. Check often as cooking times can vary.
- Allow the chips to cool completely for maximum crispiness. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
